Ghosts Sighting

The DLC trailer for Nemesis, the last of the 4 Call of Duty Ghosts add ons is here, showcasing the 4 multiplayer maps and the final extinction episode for now (I'd imagine it will be back again in 2 years time when the inevitable Ghosts 2 is released).

The map pack features:

Goldrush - This medium sized, western style mining town includes 2 usable mine carts and a pack of wolves which can be called upon by completing the now familiar field orders.

Subzero - Another medium sized map located in a Canadian submarine base complete with dynamic weather which does seem to reduce visibility in the outdoor sections of the map which could impede a snipers ability (however I remember thinking the same about Fog).

Dynasty - A small(ish) play area set in a village high up in the Chinese mountains, with the opportunity to unleash an air strike on your opponents when you complete the required objective(s)... which I  assume is tied in with achieving field order requirements.

Showtime - The final and smallest map in the pack... in fact the smallest in the entire history of Call of Duty, Shipment from COD 4: Modern Warfare, is given a fresh and imaginative new look straight from the play book of the movie "The Running Man" creative a blood sport type environment complete with the ability to gas or obliterate your enemies with the built in sentry guns.

Extinction Exodus - The final part of the 5 initial Extinction chapters, allowing for greater freedom from the start and introducing new weapons, as well as another enemy in the form of the Ancestors... a mind controlling race gifted with an arsenal of psychically generated projectiles.

Once again there is no weapon accompanying this map pack... personally I think its a bit cheeky to include a gun with the first 2 map packs and then nothing for the other 2. Don't get me wrong 2 guns out of 4 map packs is still better than none BUT they keep the contents of each map pack under wraps until shortly before release. Therefore players could easily assume, as I did, that all 4 packs will have the same format (4 online multiplayer maps, 1 extinction map and 1 gun) buying the season pass based on that information and not the actual content total of 16 online multiplayer maps, 4 extinction map and 2 guns. You could be forgiven for thinking its only 2 guns get over it... but players have been asking for additions to the basic maps only DLC packs for a while now and Infinity Ward did seem like they had taken note however in reality it now looks more like it was done as a publicity stunt and a way to sell season passes.

Nemesis will be released on both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One on the 5th of August, with the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC content to follow at least 30 days later (specific date still to be announced).

As always thanks for reading and feel free to comment about this or any other posts made in the future and don't forget to check out the Pain and Game social media pages.
