I'm back and more evolved...

Following the success of the first Titanfall competition on our Pain and Game Facebook page (www.facebook.com/painandgameblog) the second Titanfall contest is now live. Head over to the Facebook page, like our page and post your design for our new Pain and Game logo for a chance to win a set of Titanfall fabric pilot patches. I thought since the first contest was based on chance it would be good to make the second one based on creativity... plus I always planned on changing the logo sooner or later as I never felt it had the same impact as our cover image does. 

Other than that I have also been working on several things in the background: like reviews/comparisons for some physically controlled games (as a form of additional physiotherapy) which I hope to be able to post soon. Plus I have contacted some studios regarding being able to review certain games that I believe would be ideal to play as part of a pain management regime or physical recovery. 

Part of the reason I haven't posted much lately is the change in weather (the colder months always get to me, making this time of the year particularly tough) but I am determined to post as much as I can over the coming months. I am also actively looking for other gamers living with pain long term to join the crew and be a part of Pain and Game team now and in the future. I have started with the Able Gamers community, a site and charity I strongly support and will mention from time to time as I think they do a great job of supporting disabled gamers but anyone living with pain can get in touch.

Finally (for now anyway) I have unexpectedly found myself with 2 spare codes for the Evolution Alpha which is going on now and over the weekend. So I have decided to offer them up to pain and game readers and social media followers, I have one code for the Playstation 4 and one for the Xbox One to give away (sorry, I don't know if they will work in all regions or only here in the UK). All you have to do to enter is visit either the Facebook, Twitter or Instagram Pain and Game page (links below) or comment on this post and say which of the following class of character your looking forward to playing the most in Evolve and what is your reason for your choice. You can choose from the following classes - trapper, assault, medic, support or monster, if you are commenting on any of the social media pages just look out for the post containing the Evolve image pictured below... a winner will be picked for the PS4 and X1 code and contacted on Saturday morning so they have time to play before the alpha ends.
